How many people are on the small-group tours?

Our small-group tours normally operate with a maximum of around 6–7 guests, depending on the boat and the tour.

Are hotel transfers included?

Transfers are available from many of the main tourist areas in Zakynthos. Some locations are included, while more distant areas may have a small additional charge. You are also welcome to meet us directly at the harbour.

Where do the tours depart from?

Many of our tours depart from Agios Sostis Harbour. The exact meeting point and pick-up information is sent to you before the tour.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing plenty of water, snacks, towels, swimwear and sun cream.

Can we swim during the tour?

Yes. Most tours include several swimming stops, depending on the route, the weather and the sea conditions on the day.

Will we see turtles?

Turtle spotting is included on selected tours in the Zakynthos Marine Park. They are wild animals, so sightings can never be guaranteed, but our captains know the areas where they are commonly seen.

Can we swim with the turtles?

Sometimes. If conditions are safe for both the guest and the turtle, there may be an opportunity to swim in an area where turtles are present. This is never guaranteed and always depends on the conditions at the time, with the welfare of the turtle and your safety coming first.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety always comes first. If wind or sea conditions make the tour unsafe or uncomfortable, it may be delayed, rescheduled, changed or cancelled. If we cancel and an alternative cannot be arranged, you receive a refund according to the booking conditions.

Are the tours suitable for children?

Yes, many of our tours are suitable for families and children. Parents should always consider the weather and sea conditions when travelling with very young children.

Do I need to be able to swim?

Swimming is optional. Guests who do not wish to swim can stay on the boat during the swim stops.

How long are the tours?

It varies by route. The small-group turtle tour is around 3 hours, while longer coastal and private tours may last 4–5 hours or more.

Do the boats have shade?

Yes. All boats used for our tours have shaded areas for guests.

Are life jackets provided?

Yes. The boats are operated by licensed captains and carry the required safety equipment.

Can I book a private boat?

Yes. We offer private boat tours in Zakynthos for couples, families and groups, with the route and swim stops adapted where possible to your preferences and to the sea conditions.

Can we visit Shipwreck Beach?

Shipwreck (Navagio) tours depend heavily on the weather and sea conditions on the west coast. Access to the bay and the beach is also subject to any restrictions in place at the time of the tour.

What happens if we are arriving on a cruise ship?

Please contact us before booking, or immediately afterwards, with your ship's arrival and departure times. We will advise whether the tour timing and pick-up can work safely with your cruise schedule.

Is parking available at the harbour?

Yes. There is normally free parking close to our meeting point at Agios Sostis.

Why choose a small-group tour?

Smaller groups mean a more personal experience, easier conversation with the captain, more comfortable swimming stops and more flexibility than a large excursion boat can offer.

Are your captains licensed?

Yes. We work with experienced local captains operating licensed and insured vessels.

Can the itinerary change?

Yes. The exact stops and route can change depending on wind, waves, safety, local restrictions and other sea conditions. The captain always has final responsibility for the safe operation of the boat.
