Mizithres Sunset Cruise Zakynthos | Turtle Spotting Tour

As the sun begins to dip and the island starts to slow down, your journey is just beginning. Most boats are already back in the harbour — but you’re heading out on a peaceful evening adventure.

We depart from Agios Sostis Port, right inside the Zakynthos Marine Park — where sea turtles live and swim. With calm water and fewer boats around, it’s the perfect time to spot a turtle in the wild. Keep your eyes open — they often come up for air near the boat!

Next, we stop at the sandy shores of Marathonisi (Turtle Island). 🏝️ Go for a short beach walk or take your first refreshing swim in crystal-clear water.

As we cruise west, we reach the Keri Caves — a place of hidden beauty and dramatic cliffs. 🪨 Thanks to the size of our small boat, your captain can take you right inside the caves — an experience the big boats simply can’t offer. Feel the magic as the evening light shines through the rock formations.

Then it’s time for a swim stop before the main event: Mizithres. 🦈
These two giant rock peaks rise from the sea like something out of a dream. The water here is a glowing electric blue, coloured by the white limestone beneath. You can swim, relax on the beach, or even pass through a rock arch to a secret cove on the other side.

As the sun touches the horizon, your captain will position the boat between the Mizithres for the best sunset view. 🌇 The light, the colours, the peaceful setting — this is a moment to remember. Bring your camera, or just take it in with your own eyes.
